If eating vegetables isn’t your thing, you can blend all of them together for a vitamin enriched green drink. By adding spinach, kale, cucumber, and stalks of celery, you can make a tasty drink that provides necessary vitamins such as A, C, and K, as well as plenty of antioxidants. Plus, the beta carotene from the kale will give you a beautiful glow.
Exfoliating your skin does not mean scrubbing it vigorously once a week. If you rub your skin too hard you can irritate it in the process, adding to the damage. To maintain your glow all summer long, gently exfoliate your skin daily to remove the dead skin cells that pile up and dull your complexion. You can purchase a cleanser from the store that includes tiny exfoliating particles, but make sure the particles are invisible and feel like tiny grains of sand between your fingers. Or, you can create your own scrub, by mixing some melted coconut oil to sugar, and adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Not only will this homemade scrub leave your skin feeling smooth, the coconut oil will moisturize your skin and the essential oils will leave you smelling incredible.
